The witch of dress-up. She has an inviting nature. A kind-hearted witch who dreams of ideal things. This witch can't stand being lonely, and never lets visitors to her barrier escape.

This is Candeloro, Mami's witch form (that shows up only in the PSP game). IT'S SYMBOLIIIIC~

okay it's basically representing her issues with being alone that she hides under her cool senpai facade. Her familiars are representations of Kyoko and Madoka; the former being someone she used to be friends with but things ended badly, and the latter being someone who befriended her and eased her loneliness.

tl;dr SHE IS A VERY LONELY PERSON OK SHE SITS ALONE IN HER ROOM ALL THE TIME AND TALKS TO KYUUBEY AND HER DEAD PARENTS

DID YOU KNOW: Mami actually had to work at her powers, the only thing she could do at the beginning was make ribbons. She made muskets by studying their structure so she could construct them out of ribbon (it's possible that she couldn't make anything more 'advanced' because the structure of modern day guns were too complex).
